From Liberty Park, NJ, board the ferry to Ellis Island–the gateway to America for millions. It is said that nearly 40 percent of all living Americans can trace their roots to this port of entry. The Ellis Island Immigration Museum maps out the history of immigration in the United States with photographs, personal artifacts and innovative displays immortalizing those from other lands who came here seeking a better way of life. The ferry will also take you to Liberty Island.
Depart promptly at 7:00 AM from the north end of the Park and Ride on Deereco Road, l/4 mile south off Padonia Road (exit l7-I-83), and 7:30 AM from Carney Park and Ride on Harford Road and Jomat Avenue, 3/4 mile north off beltway exit 3l-b. 7:45 AM from Exit 74 off I-95 Rte 152, Mountain Rd & Joppa Park & Ride. Non-stop en route arriving approximately 11:00 AM at Liberty Park, NJ. Board the ferry to Ellis Island . Lunch (on own) at Ellis Island. 5:00PM board the coach & depart Liberty Park, NJ. A dinner stop (on own) will be made 6:30PM. Arrive approximately 10:00 PM at Exit 74, 10:30 PM at Carney Park and Ride and 11:00PM at Park and Ride on Deereco Road.
Cost of Trip:
$69.00 per person. A $30.00 deposit per person is required to confirm the reservation. Balance is due 30 days prior to trip. Seats will be assigned upon final payment.
