It’s worth the trip to Skyline Drive. Here atop the Blue Ridge Mountains, is one of the most spectacular displays of nature’s handiwork. Visit the largest and most popular caverns in Eastern America, Luray. Your self-guided tour of the caverns is assisted by trained guides who will point out a variety of formations, natural color, and the world’s only Stalacpipe organ.
Depart 7:30 AM from the north end of the Park & Ride on Deereco Road (1/4 mile south off Padonia Road – Exit 17 off I-83) and 8:00 AM from the Carney Park & Ride on Harford Road and Jomat Avenue (3/4 mile north off beltway Exit 31-B). 11:00 AM arrive at Luray Caverns. Lunch on own is available in Luray. Depart Luray 1:30 PM for a picturesque drive through Skyline Drive to Front Royal, Virginia.
Dinner stop on own. Approximate return to Carney Park & Ride 8:00PM and 8:30 PM Deereco Park & Ride.
COST OF TRIP :
$59.00 per person. A $20.00 deposit per person is required to confirm the reservation. Balance is due 30 days prior to trip. Seats will be assigned upon final payment.
