Sunday, September 19
6:00 AM depart the north end of the Park & Ride on Deereco Road, ¼ mile south off Padonia Road (exit 17 off I-83) and 6:30 AM from Carney Park & Ride on Harford Road and Jomat Avenue, ¾ mile north off beltway exit 3l-B. Breakfast stop on own en route. Lunch on own and rest stops en route before arriving approximately 5:00 PM at your overnight lodging (no luggage service – pack an overnight bag). Dinner is on your own this evening.

Monday, September 20
Breakfast, then check out and depart for Nashville, TN. Lunch on own and rest stops en route before arriving at your hotel for three evenings. You will have time to freshen up before dinner, which is followed by the entertaining show at the Texas Troubadour Theater. John Beardsley’s hit show, “A Tribute of the King Through the Years” pays tribute to the King in Music City where Elvis recorded over 300 songs. This high energy live musical biography transports the audience through six phases of his career with over 30 songs and costume changes.

Tuesday, September 21
After breakfast, meet your local guide for a tour of Nashville. You will see the homes of well known country and western entertainers as well as the Ryman Theater, the original home of the Grand Ole Opry which is known as the Mother Church of Country Music. A stop will be made at the Parthenon, which is the world’s only full scale replica of the original Parthenon in Athens. Today the Parthenon functions as an art museum and stands as the centerpiece in Centennial Park. Afterwards, continue to the Opryland docks for a luncheon cruise aboard the General Jackson Riverboat. An afternoon of music and laughter as you cruise on the Cumberland River. Afterwards, depart for the Opryland Hotel where you will experience a ride on the Delta River Flatboats along the scenic indoor river and through the beautiful lush indoor gardens of the Gaylord Opryland Resort. Later, you will have time to explore the fabulous Opryland Hotel. Return to your hotel to relax before this evening’s activities. A delicious dinner at a popular local restaurant, after which you will depart for an entertaining show at the Grand Ole Opry. The Opry blends the excitement of a live audience, the heritage of the world’s largest-running live radio show, and an incredible mix of talent.

Wednesday, September 22
Breakfast, then depart for downtown Nashville for a self-guided tour of the Country Music Hall of Fame, a state of the art cultural landmark and the world’s largest music museum. The museum features an array of rare costumes, instruments, historical mementos and tear-stained lyric sheets which serve to entertain and educate audiences from all over the world. After your visit, continue to the famous Wildhorse Saloon where you can have lunch on your own and line dancing lessons in this country/western-themed restaurant and dance club with the world’s largest dance floor. Afterwards, you will have time to explore downtown Nashville at your own pace. Visit the shops, Printer’s Alley, and Honky Tonks. Return to your hotel to freshen up before continuing to the Nashville Nightlife Dinner Theater where you will have a wonderful buffet dinner and Nashville’s newest production, “The Best of Country Music”. Experience a celebration of Country Music from both past and present. Hear songs from many of the great artists in Country Music history along with today’s hottest hits.

Thursday, September 23
Following breakfast, check out and depart for a visit to the Belle Meade Plantation, which features a Greek revival mansion which was built in 1853 on 30 acres of land and grew to 5,400 acres by the end of the 19th Century. The farm was a thoroughbred nursery famous for breeding and training championship race horses. Barbarro can trace its bloodline back to Belle Meade. After your visit, travel to your last night of lodging where you will check into your hotel (no luggage service – pack an overnight bag). Dinner is on your own this evening.

Friday, September 24
7:00 AM breakfast at the hotel. Check out. 8:00 AM depart for the return home. Lunch on your own and rest stops en route before returning approximately 5:00 PM to the Carney Park & Ride and 5:30 PM to Deereco Park & Ride.
