Take home a memory of Lancaster County, local handicrafts, real Pennsylvania Dutch foods…Shoo-fly pie, and fresh baked breads.
Depart 7:30 AM from Carney Park & Ride, Harford Road and Jomat Avenue, 3/4 mile north off beltway exit 3l-B and 8:00 AM from the north end of the Park & Ride on Deereco Road, 1/4 mile south off Padonia Road (exit 17 off I-83). 9:30AM meet a local guide at Penn Dutch Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. 10:00AM Amish Quilt & Craft Shop –Eli Glicks (rootbeer & cheese). 11:00 AM Gibbons Road Bakery(Shoo Fly Pie). 12:30 PM Family Style Lunch in Amish Home. 2:00 PM Bird In Hand Farmer’s Market (Whoopie Pie). Stop also at the Kitchen Kettle Village where over 39 unique shops and restaurants are built around Lancaster County’s nationally celebrated Jam & Relish Kitchen. 5:00 PM depart for the return to Baltimore. Arrive approximately 6:30 PM at Deereco Park & Ride and 7:00PM at Carney Park & Ride.
Cost of Trip:
$89.00 per person. A $40.00 deposit per person is required to confirm the reservation. Balance is due 30 days prior to trip. Seats will be assigned upon final payment.
