Experience the excitement of the beautiful Chesapeake Bay on the Tangier Island Cruise out of Crisfield, MD. Walk the narrow streets, visit the gift shops or take a golfcart ride with a local for a tour of this quaint island which was discovered by Captain John Smith and first settled by Indians. Upon arriving at Tangier Island, you will be guided down to the famous “Hilda Crockett’s Chesapeake House” where you will dine on a delicious family-style meal (crab cakes, fried clam fritters, Virginia ham, corn pudding, sweet peas, pickled beets, applesauce, potato salad, cole slaw, yeast rolls, iced tea, and all-butter pound cake for dessert).
Depart 7:30 AM from the north end of the Park & Ride on Deereco Road (1/4 mile south off Padonia Road – Exit 17 off I-83) and 8:00 AM from the Carney Park & Ride on Harford Road and Jomat Avenue (3/4 mile north off beltway Exit 31-B). 9:00 AM fastfood stop on own. Arrive in Crisfield 12 Noon. 12:30 PM board the Steven Thomas for a relaxing one and a quarter hour narrated cruise. 1:45 PM The ship docks at Tangier Island where you are met by a friendly guide. Lunch 2:00PM at the Chesapeake House. Board the boat 4:00 PM for the return to Crisfield. 5:15PM boat returns to Crisfield dock. Coach departs 5:30 PM for the return home. A short stop for fastfood (on own) will be made approximately 6:30 PM. Return to Carney Park and Ride approximately 9:00PM and Deereco Park and Ride 9:30 PM.
COST OF TRIP :
$79.00 per person. A $30.00 deposit per person is required to confirm the reservation. Balance is due 30 days prior to trip. Seats will be assigned upon final payment.
